Wheel and Tyre Shopify Plugin

Fitment search for your Shopify store

Boughto Companion for Shopify adds wheel and tyre fitment search to your store. Shoppers enter their reg or pick their car, and they only see wheels and tyres that fit it, priced with your margin and stocked from your supplier feeds. Checkout stays in Shopify.

Add fitment search to your theme

Boughto Companion adds two theme blocks that you place wherever you like in the Shopify theme editor:

  • Vehicle Lookup. Shoppers search by number plate, by make and model, or both. You choose which.
  • Tyre Lookup. Shoppers find tyres by reg, by vehicle or by tyre size.

An app embed runs the rest of the Boughto widgets across your theme. Switch it on in your theme editor.

Wheel and tyre pages on your own domain

Boughto serves your wheel and tyre pages on your own domain, styled to match your store: wheel brands and ranges, vehicle search and results, wheel detail pages, tyres, and wheel and tyre packages. You don’t need to build or maintain these pages yourself.

No catalogue to sync

A Shopify product is only created when a shopper adds an item to their cart. There’s no bulk import of thousands of wheels and tyres, and no product sync to keep running. Your catalogue lives in Boughto Dash, with your brands, markup rules and supplier feeds, and Shopify only holds what people actually buy.

Only wheels that fit

Every wheel shown has passed Boughto’s fitment checks for the shopper’s vehicle: PCD, centre bore and offset. You can also switch on a load-rating check. Boughto’s wheel fitment data covers around 8,000 vehicle models and more than 90 wheel brands.

Packages and sets

  • Wheel and tyre packages go into the cart as four wheels plus four tyres, with 2+2 front and rear sets for staggered vehicles.
  • “Only sell wheels in sets” makes sure wheels are always bought in fours.
  • The shopper’s vehicle is saved on the cart line, so you know exactly which car each order is for.

Make it yours

You control these settings in Boughto Dash: brand colours, custom CSS and product HTML; delivery line and trust signals; selling wheels only in sets; out-of-stock purchases; adding VAT to prices; and remembering the shopper’s vehicle for up to 90 days.

Reg lookup, analytics and Google Shopping

  • Reg lookup is an add-on. Once it’s switched on, both blocks accept a number plate, and you set a monthly lookup allowance so costs stay under your control.
  • Analytics in Boughto Dash show vehicle lookups, product and package views, and add-to-cart activity on your Boughto pages, with no cookies and no IP addresses.
  • Google Shopping. Send your priced wheel catalogue to Google Merchant Center with Boughto’s daily wheel feed, with product links set up for Shopify.

They type a registration or pick make, model, year and engine. No guesswork on PCD, offset or load rating.

2. Boughto finds what fits

We match the vehicle against our wheel and tyre data and your live supplier stock, so shoppers only see products that fit and are available.

Wheel and tyre Shopify plugin FAQ’s

The Boughto Shopify plugin, Boughto Companion, adds wheel and tyre fitment search to your Shopify store. Built by Boughto, an independent UK company that works with wheel and tyre manufacturers and retailers, it lets shoppers find products that fit their vehicle by reg or by make and model. Checkout, payments and orders stay in Shopify.

No. You install Boughto Companion from Boughto Dash through Shopify’s secure authorisation, switch on the app embed, and drag the Vehicle Lookup and Tyre Lookup blocks into place in the Shopify theme editor. If you want a custom design or a new store built, Boughto’s in-house team specialises in wheel and tyre websites.

No, and this is where Boughto differs from most Shopify fitment apps. Boughto doesn’t import its catalogue into Shopify. A product is only created when a shopper adds it to their cart, so your Shopify admin stays clean and there’s no product sync to manage or fix.

Every wheel Boughto shows has passed its fitment checks for the shopper’s vehicle: PCD, centre bore and offset, with an optional load-rating check. That matching uses Boughto’s own fitment data, which you can edit in Boughto Dash if you want to add vehicles or change results for your store.

Yes. Boughto adds wheel and tyre packages to the Shopify cart as four wheels plus four tyres, or as 2+2 front and rear sets for staggered vehicles. You can also choose to sell wheels only in sets of four, and the shopper’s vehicle is saved on each cart line, so you always know which car an order is for.

Yes, with Boughto’s reg lookup add-on. Once it’s switched on for your account, the Vehicle Lookup and Tyre Lookup blocks accept a number plate, matched against DVLA data. You set a monthly lookup allowance in Boughto Dash, so you stay in control of costs.

Yes. Boughto connects your supplier stock and price feeds and applies your markup rules, but you need your own trading agreement with each supplier. Boughto works with major wheel suppliers and manufacturers, so the team can advise on which feeds are already supported.
